This paper is focused on possibilities of numerical modelling of aluminium degassing by inert gas injected through rotary impeller in simulation software ANSYS Fluent. This program includes many turbulent and multiphase models and each of the models has its field of application. The aim of this paper is summarization of useful models and choice of suitable turbulent model for flow field modelling and multiphase model for modelling of free surface behavior.
