The mathematical model of nitrogen oxides formation in combustion of natural gas with flue gas recirculation is described. The model is based on the dimensional analysis and was verified by an experiment with a physical model of the combustion equipment. The constant and exponents for the criterial equation were determined while applying the multiple linear regression. The Student's t-test confirmed very good concordance between the experiment results and the model results
