Original language description
The article presents a numerical simulation of melt flow in a five-strand tundish for continuous casting of steel. The software CDF ANSYS Fluent, which is part of the ANSYS Workbench software package, was selected for study and its license for educational purposes is provided by school IT workplace VŠB-TUO. CFD software ANSYS Fluent allows to solve problems in the area of flow, heat transfer and combustion.
