The environmental benefits of using bag filters in metallurgical plants in the Czech republic
Original language description
This article is focused on possibilities of dedusting equipments to capture particulate matters from the chosen production process of the metallurgical plants in the Czech Republic. It deals with the issue of particulate matter generated during the production of pig iron. The article presents the manufacturing process at main sections of a metallurgical enterprise for the production of pig iron and possible formation of particulate emissions in individual sections. The emissions from sinter plants dominate the overall emissions for most of the pollutants. In 1980s, the sintering bands in Czech metallurgical plants sintering process was dedusted by cyclones.
