    The aim of this paper is to present the effect of mulling time and number of mulling cycles on the properties of sand-water-bentonite system, which is often neglected when dealing with green sand moulding mixtures. The mulling time is based on the measurement of the effect of prolonged mulling on the changes in the properties of the green sand mixture due to progressive strength and the water content at the beginning and end of mulling.
