    The introduction of new, more efficient mixers for green sand mixture leads to the need to determine the optimal mixing conditions for these mixers. This work aims to determine the optimal mixing conditions for the newly introduced Laboratory Intensive Mixer with rotated bowl LM-3e in the sand laboratory at the Department of Metallurgical Technologies, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology, VSB - Technical University of Ostrava. The main properties monitored will be the green compressive strength and mixture of the mixture. The measured properties of the mixture mixed using the eddy mixer will be compared with the properties of the mixture mixed using the existing wheel mixer LM-2e. For these two mixers, the mixing efficiency will be determined according to the mixing index.
