It summarises their potential applications in construction (concrete, foamed concrete, …),composites, agriculture, energy, and waste management, as well as direct reuse in foundries (e.g. remelting ofchips, metal recovery from moulding mixtures and dust fractions). Environmental and economic benefits areconsidered, including reduced landfilling, raw material consumption, CO₂ emissions, and the role of circulareconomy in metallurgy
