Original language description
In this study, NiTi cubes with dimensions of 20x20x20mmwere deposited using the DED method. Two types of feedstock materials were used: (i) a pre-mixed elemental nickel and titanium powder mixture (Ni56wt%-Ti) and (ii) atomized NiTi powder containing 55.8 wt.% Ni. Both types of powder feedstock were deposited under identical processing parameters.Mechanical properties were tensile tested and phase analysis were performed.
