Inflation and Economic Growth
Original language description
The paper reviews both theoretical and empirical literature dialing with relationship between inflation and economic growth. The traditional way of analysing inflation and growth has been set up a neoclassical growth model. In the mid-1980s there was a rise of the endogenous growth models, that use the production function with constant returns of capital. The most of recent articles in the new growth literature find that growth and inflation are negatively related. High inflatin is not consistent with sustained growth.
