Original language description
The article deals with the labour market modelling in the Czech Republic using a double-equation model. The first equation follows the behaviour of the unsatisfied labour supply determined by education and age structure of the unemployed, registered length of unemployment, available jobs and average wage. The second equation models the labour demand influenced by demanded education structure, registered available jobs, gross domestic product (GDP), the unemployed and average wage. The exponential regression model is transformed to linear one and on the basis of the analysis of the system structure and for identification and estimate is worked out by the method of the least squares for quarter time series for years1994 - 2000. On the basis of the verified model a prediction for the three-quarters of the year 2001 is worked out and its success assessed
