In the last decade of the 20th century tourism in the Czech Republic has stabilized after the beginning turbulent development. With regard to the growing competition in the world and European market of tourism it is necessary to count on the innovation of the supply and making new attractions accessible to tourists. Here we can see the possibilities of using technical monuments that do not belong to the most attractive tourist sights, but the interest in knowing them is constantly growing. The use of industrial architecture and technical monuments in tourism creates the possibility to increase the attractiveness of industrial areas, to spread the visitors to the Czech Republic, also to those areas that have not been the aim of their destination before
