The paper is focused on use of advanced quality tool - Design of Experiments (DOE, Taguchi approach). Based on cooperation with automotive companies, the author described an evolution of DOE, as for applying it in Czech automotive industry. Beyond this,there is shown DOE implementation during prototype development phase, as a more advanced type of DOE application.
