Traditional performance measurement systems have been critized as being too focused on financial figures and functional level performance that they often fail to win long-term business success. Given recent development in the performance measurement literature more executives and managers have begun to question whether their performance measurement systems really measure up. There is also growing interest in non-financial measures such as customer satisfaction, innovation or learning. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to performance the base of balanced scorecard and framework for its implementation in Czech firms
