Corruption has grown so widespread and sophisticated that it threatens to undermine the very fabric of society. Today, corruption as a negative social phenomenon is becoming a serious issue striking both last developing countries and advanced countries.Especially countries undergoing the process of transformation often face an increasing trend of corruption and consequencies arising from it. This paper deals with comparison of single indexes measuring corruption climate in transition economics especially in Visegrad countries (V4). To compare the measure of corruption this paper used results of Corruption Perception Index, Corporate Governance Risk Index and Capture Index. All indexes appear from methodology of well-known international organization e.g. Transparency International, OECD, World Bank

Korupce se tak rozšířila, že začíná ohrožovat strukturu společnosti. Korupce jako negativní společenský fenomén se dnes stává vážným problémem zasahujícím jak méně rozvinuté země, tak i vyspělé ekonomiky. Převážně země procházející procesem transformacečasto čelí rostoucímu trendu korupce a následků z ní vyplývajících. Tento příspěvek provádí srování základních indexů měřících korupční klima v tranzitivních ekonomikách, zvláště V4. Pro srovnání korupce jsou použity výsledky těchto indexů: Corruption Perception Index, Corporate Governance Risk Index a Capture Index. Všechny indexy vycházejí z metodiky mezinárodních organizací, např. Transparency International, OECD, Světová banka.
