The main goal of this paper is to demonstrate practical application of stochastic simulation of Czech Republic economy using retrospective alternatives of branch of ferrous metallurgy in 1999 through the use of structural INPUT-OUTPUT models. We investigate in the concrete possible influence of total production of ferrous metallurgy on total usage of Czech Republic economy. For simulations were completed alternative possibilities of development of ferrous metallurgy branch in the given year. At the endthere are summarized strong and weak points of used method of analysis.
