The significant changes in spatial behaviour of the population have happened during last decade especially in the evaluation of reproduction and migration behaviour. The spatial deconcentration accompanied above all by deurbanisation and suburbanisationprocesses changes considerably the pattern of settlement. Based on the ten years analysis in 1992-2001 the paper deals with new trends in changes of natural and mechanical movement of population within Moravia -Silesia region. The result is the classification municipality according to the above-mentioned processes
