Original language description
The aim of the paper is to compare collective investment in the V4 countries -Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia - with the selected European countries. The authors compare and evaluate fund assets, structure of the collective investment funds andthe whole contemporary situation of the collective investment in the East European countries and those European countries where collective investment is most developed, zooming in on the most comparable countries.

Czech description
Cílem článku je srovnání kolektivního investování zemí V4 -Česká republika, Maďarsko, Polsko, Slovensko- s vybranými evropskými zeměmi. Autoři porovnávají a hodnotí objem majetku ve fondech, strukturu fondů a celkovou současnou situaci kolektivního investování v zemích bývalé východní Evropy se zeměmi, kde je kolektivní investování nejvíce rozvinuté se zeměmi, které jsou těmto východoevropským zemím nejvíce podobné.
