REA Framework: A Crosscut Concerns Approach to information Systems
Original language description
The value oriented approach for business analysis and application design represents perspectives that complement the process oriented approach. However, the value chain oriented models seem to be process independent what makes the software solution moreadaptable to unanticipated changes in the customer's business. One of the leading value oriented models is the REA framework proposed by McCarthy. In our paper we deal with multi-layer REA framework and propose the knowledge notion as a new REA resourcetype produced and used in the overhead perspective of the REA operational level. We also discuss the behavioral level of the REA framework proposed by Hruby and suggest new behavioral aspect, namely the scheduling aspect.
