In last decades, many localities in the Czech Republic were encountered by intensive flooding, as well as their frequency increased considerably. With these natural disasters are directly linked the increasing number of loss events that affect the pricing methods of real estate and, ultimately, affect the prices of property. Valuation of property in flood areas has its own specifics, among which ranks the register of high-risk localities in the Czech Republic and the completion of the Flood Maps, whichspecify the risk flood zones. The article deals with the background, resources, software tools and possibilities of property prices analysis in flooded areas.
