Original language description
In this article the results we came to when studying the changes in the population growth in the EU countries within the last twenty years are presented. The investigated death rate, birth rate and migration cover the period from 1990 to 2009. The weightof the population growth under study is directed to all 27 members of the European Union retrospectively to 1990, even if at that time the EU consisted of twelve member countries only. The dynamic spatial typology is carried out on the basis of a seriesof values of the following three basic demographical indices: the crude rate of natural increase (CRNI), crude rate of net migration (CRNM), and crude rate of total population increase (CRTPI).
