Design and Web Usability Testing of Service Selling Web Sites
Original language description
This paper deals with presentation of the research project partial results, which was focused on the design, deployment and design optimization of service selling web sites. The testing and research conducted on web users allowed us to find out how to design web sites, which the target group would respond exactly as the creator needs to. Most often, a success is measured by an amount of prepaid services or goods purchased. The article´s aim is to provide guidance on how to run various forms of testing of users´ reactions and their response to the service selling web sites. Various theoretical approaches and methods that are used for web usability testing are described in the paper. At the same time, a technical realization of the tested web sites is mentioned out as well as nowadays basic web technologies are described.
