Original language description
This paper deals with description and empirical analysis of the use of the Mathematica software in the Mathematics in Economics e-learning course, which is taught in master's studies at the Faculty of Economics, VŠB - TU Ostrava. This paper is focused onsome teaching tools that were used by the author in above course to make a teaching process more efficient and the studying of selected parts of that compulsory course easier for the students. In this paper author especially stresses solutions of selected economic models using interactive applications written in Mathematica software. Since those teaching aids have been used in practice, practical experience provided both by the students and the teachers has been analysed by selected statistical methods.
