Original language description
The paper deals with description of content analysis method and its utilization for analysing final theses defended at Department of Marketing and Business at VŠB ? Technical University of Ostrava. Theoretical part of the contribution presents some basictheories and approaches to content analysis and the method procedure. In the field part there are outcomes of using the method for analysing theses defended in 2012 with focus on comparison of bachelor and master theses. These are compared according totheme, company sector and market, statistical analysis and SPSS software utilization, journals and foreign literature citations. We discovered there is relation between using SPSS, or correctly defined hypotheses and teacher's grade and there are no significant differences in quality between bachelor and master theses.
