Original language description
The current problems of fiscal federalism concern the improvement of economic and political decisions made by governments and public sector and its main theme is the investigation of the financial relations between the central government and lower administrative levels within the public sector. This paper focuses on the issue of public finances and public expenditures in EU countries. Attention is paid to public expenditure on public services in the EU countries at the central and local level. For the evaluation of public expenditures in EU countries and their interrelations are used statistical methods (correlation and cluster analysis).
