Prevention of Crises Based on the Creation and Usage of Simulation Models
Original language description
The article is focused on the issues of crisis prevention with the help of the simulation model and the use of production functions. The aim is to explain a simulation model presenting a management system adequate enough for crisis prevention requirements (an early warning system). The presented simulation model and the utilization of production functions are related to coal mining but they can be used in other sectors, too. The starting points, such as the functional characteristics and structure of the elements of linkage and behaviour, i.e. the characteristics which determine the dynamics of the coal mining process, are characterized. The simulation model is structured as functional blocks and their linkages with regard to the organizational and temporal hierarchy of their actions. Then the production function characteristics and their utilization in a dynamic simulation are presented. In conclusion, the article emphasizes the direct relationship of the simulation model and preventi
