Original language description
The paper is devoted to the production portfolio optimization problem where the industrial companies' profit is maximized under particular environmental factors - emission caps and carbon trading. Nowadays, an obligation of carbon trading is considered to be one of the urgent threats for European companies and it is widely discussed. Since the non-European countries are not limited by this constraint, EU countries should afford to manage it as effectively as possible. Due to the fact that emission trading's environment is influenced by highly uncertain aspects, the optimization model established should also involve this non-determinacy. In this paper, the fuzzy optimization approach was chosen to deal with uncertainty. Concretely, the emission permit'scost - the main influencing factor of the European Emission Trading Scheme (EU ETS) is considered to be a fuzzy, hence represented by fuzzy numbers.
