This paper deals with economic determinants of internal (interregional) migration in Czech Republic. In researches, there are very often used main economic determinants, for example wages, unemployment rates, vacancy rates and other. For approximation ofmigration costs are used especially distance and neighbourhood of districts (regions). But nowadays, play increasingly important role also "untypical" determinants. One of them is nature (air) pollution. It is possible to say, that breathing of pollutedair should destroy human health, so pollution can act as a one type of living costs (negative externality) and if it motivate people to migrate.
