A referendum on membership of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) in the European Union, in which the voters voted for secession from the Union, should a recommendation to initiate the process of speech, on the never unused Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union . After its activation by Great Britain, the EU will have to seek consensus, which would result in a jointly acceptable solution beneficial to both parties. It was started as an extraordinary period of uncertainty, which in effect could lead to the strengthening of secessionist tendencies in Europe, including the possible disintegration of the European Union.
