E-participation in EU-countries ant the position of the Czech Republic
Original language description
Public participation and citizen engagement are contemporary issues of our times. Their significance is seen in the abilityl to shape public policies and determine public service delivery. e-Participation does enable the public to participate more broadly and deeply in the policy making process across all levels of government. Therefore the overall objective of the government should be to encourage and provide channels for digital civic engagement that lead the country to make higher quality, more relevant decisions and policies. The paper is focused on the issue of e-Participation and its implementation in EU countries.
