Process Petri nets with time stamps (PPNTS) are the newly introduced class of low-level Petri nets that extends the original concepts of workflow Petri nets with time stamps in the areas of modeling of generally parallel systems with the discrete time by deploying the new type of places called the resource places that is used for expressing conditions of a modeled process containing some initial resources. This article presents the definition and chosen properties of PPNTSs and in particular it introduces the concept and properties of their subnets that plays significant role in the area of analysis of static and dynamic properties of PPNTSs. With the support of these concepts the PPNTSs can be applied also in the area of the project management and the generalization of the CPM activities charts completed with the verification of their properties that is demonstrated in the simple example.
