A comparison of the efficiency of Czech universities
Original language description
The paper deals with the efficiency score of Czech universities obtained through calculations following the CCR and BCC DEA models. Both DEA models work with multiple inputs and outputs of homogeneous productive units. The efficiency score is the ratio between the inputs and outputs. The survey confirmed different results in the efficiency score. The efficiency scores were further compared. Seventeen universities were efficient according to the BCC DEA model while only seven universities were efficient according to the CCR DEA model. (C) 2019 VSB-Technical University of Ostrava.
