From 10 to 11 September 2019, the Department of Public Economics at the Faculty of Economics of the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava held the 13th Annual International Scientific Conference "Public Economics and Administration 2019". The individual years of the conference have taken place every two years since 1995. The conference creates a space for the presentation of new findings in the field of public economics and administration from the research by scientists, academics, and practitioners. Thematically, the conference was divided into four sections that focused on public finance, public sector, social policy, and public administration.
