The main purpose of the study is to identify specific aspects of the concept of resilience used in the context of socio-economic processes and regional development. This study is based on a systematic approach to literary research examining research work on the issue of resilience and components of the concept of resilience. This study aims to provide a suitable review of the literature and emphasise the definition of resilience, as well as to analyse the individual components in the context of socio-economic processes / regional development. The study discusses the theoretical foundations of regional resilience, addresses related issues about the importance and explanation of regional resilience, and provides factors for regional resilience.
