Original language description
Protecting of the endpoints has never been more important and challenging. The threat actors are becoming more and more sophisticated in their ability to exploit vulnerabilities, breach organizations' IT infrastructures, and hack into sensitive data. One of the main drivers for this phenomenon comes from the fact that in time of the coronavirus, the global workforce is pre-dominantly at home which means that work is happening at the endpoint (in the third quarter of 2020, Check Point Research saw a 50% increase in the daily average of ransomware attacks com-pared to the first half of the year). The article deals with problematic of the process of making endpoint security decisions. The article deals with the issue of determining a strategy for an effective approach to endpoint security. In the introductory part, the article deals with determining the necessary prerequisites for effective endpoint security. It then describes the key principles for choosing the right solution.
