Global warming and (Insured) losses from natural catastrophes
Original language description
Global warming is affecting the whole world and people have not found any efficient method to control it yet. Obviously, strong impact on national economies, including global financial sector and insurance is evident. We identify especially the increasing number of natural catastrophes and related insured losses as the most problematic area, which may negatively affect the insurers in the future. We therefore analyse the (insured) losses coming from natural catastrophes and try to forecast their possible evolution for the next ten years with respect to the global temperature anomalies. Moreover, we focus on the number of natural catastrophes and total losses as well. (C) 2021, Scibulcom Ltd.. All rights reserved.
