Original language description
The main tool of the Shop Floor Management (SFM) is a structured system of meetings at all levels of the production hierarchy. The meeting participants, who are managing the production, need to be clearly, and self-servicely informed about the production data. This article describes the possible structuring of the SFM system and the use of Power Pivot as a product of Self-Service Business Intelligence (SSBI) that connects or confronts the production plans with the actual production. The connection is graphically displayed based on the multidimensional modelling and the possible online visualization of data from the SFM meetings is described.
