Original language description
The article presents a method for automatic image retrieval using the numerical linear algebra. A raster image is represented as a sequence of pixels. Information retrieval is conducted by the Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) method. The partial Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is computed effectively using a Lanczos-based iterative method. Numerical experiments using the Matlab (tm) software indicates feasibility of the here presented approach as a tool for automated image retrieval of the real (noise)data without special image preprocessing.

Příspěvek prezentuje metodu pro automatické vyhledávání v obrázcích užitím numerické lineární algebry. Rastrový obrázek je reprezentován posloupností pixelů. Pro vyhledávání informací je užita metoda Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI). SVD rozklad (SingularValue Decomposition) je vypočten efektivně užitím Lanczosovy metody. Numerické experimenty užitím programu Matlab(tm) indikují vhodnost zde prezentovaného přístupu jako nástroje pro automatické vyhledávání v reálných (tj. v zašumělých) obrázcích bez speciálního předzpracování obrázků.
