Two natural minerals, vermiculite expandable 2:1 clay mineral, and kaolinite non-expandable 1:1 clay mineral, both with wide and unique application possibilities, were selected as base for nanopigments. Using two preparation techniques we had prepared nanopigments, and they stability was controlled applying the leachability in water medium test.
