    Porous carbon nanomaterial for batteries

  • Original language description

    Utilisation of activated carbon from biomass as electrode in supercapacitors and batteries have been investigated as alternative material to replace graphite. Preparation of activated carbon is step towards green synthesis as it can use waste biomass as precursor. Modification of activated carbon with sulfur should provide enhanced properties and better interaction in Li-S batteries. Prepared samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and SSA.
