Original language description
Wider utilization of renewable energy sources is strategic aim of European Union, Czech Republic and Moravian-Silesian region of course too. Effort of all Europe is reduction of injurious emissions. Although biomass is considered to be an ecological source, its transformation into heat or electricity usually cannot do without a combustion process, in which injurious compounds are generated. Information about true ecological effects of energy utilization of biomass was presented at international conference Oils & Fuels for Sustainable Development AUZO 2008 in Poland.
