Fine Particle Emissions from Combustion of Wood and Lignite in Small Furnaces
Original language description
The article presents results of an experimental determination of particle matter emissions, including dividing TSP into PM10 and PM2.5 fractions. There were six combustion devices used for the experiment where wood and lignite were burnt. Samples were taken in a dilution tunnel with the help of an impactor. It was found out that specific emissions differ significantly during the combustion cycle. Compared to the used emission factors, there are evident differences. Further, it was found out that a combustion device conception influences TSP specific emissions more than age.
