    One of the methods for obtaining alternative sources of energy is biomass gasification. During this process wastewater with a high organic load is generated. The wastewater contains toxic, mutagenic, carcinogenic and refraction substances. It therefore seems reasonable to use chemical pretreatment before discharge into the sewer system. The literature data reported the raw sewage causes the collapse of biological systems for wastewater treatment plants. Due to the nature of the wastewater, a method fromthe group belonging to advanced oxidation processes (AOP's), which include Fenton's reaction, will be indicated. In the article it is shown how important the selection of the Fenton reaction parameters is. Parameters should always be chosen experimentally, de-pending on the effects that we want to obtain. The removal rate is affected by both hydrogen peroxide and iron ions, however, the amount of pollution re-moved is affected by hydrogen peroxide. Correction of the initial and final pH
