    On the fracture surface of specimen from drop weight teat test (DWTT) is necessary always determined percentage portion of the ductile fracture. At present time percentage portion of the ductile fracture (PPDF) of the fracture surface is specified subjectively on the basis of expert evaluators' estimation according to references stated in the recommendations. The objective of this paper is to develop and verify new algorithms to determine the PPDF. Evaluation of fracture surfaces was carried out on a set of fracture surfaces DWTT specimens of steel X70. Fracture surfaces of the DWTT specimens were scanned by the help of 3D-Cam scanner to the grids discrete points and further for image analysis specimen were photographed. Calculation of scanned PPDF fracture surface is made from its three-dimensional model or profiles taken parallel and perpendicular to the boundary fracture surface. This proved that the developed algorithms provide more accurate determination of the PPDF.
