Fatigue and fracture properties analysis of nickel superalloys for extreme applications.
Original language description
The research was focused on fatigue and fracture properties of nickel superalloys used in the production of castings of pumps. In particular, high cycle fatigue were tested with subsequent assembly of the S-N curve. Fracture toughness tests has also been performed. Everything was related to manufacturing technology by casting. The results of this research serve as input values for designing pump designs in these material types.
