Chemical cleaning of the heating surfaces
Original language description
The continuous development, increasing of demand and focusing on satisfaction of client requests in the area of the cleanliness maintaining of heat transfer surfaces of combustion plants nowadays indicates chemical cleaning between the most accessible methods to reduce the amount of deposits on heat transfer surfaces. This technology is offered by the French company A. I. T. DRIVEX, which has for many years consistently and systematically engaged in the problems of preventive and periodic cleaning of combustion chambers of energy equipment (especially of boilers) for the combustion of all types of fuels, including municipal and industrial wastes. The technology has already been successfully introduced in many energy installations, thermal power plants and combustion plants in France. The relevant environmental regulations in the countries of the European Union are respected. This method is based on the use of a chemical reagent periodically injected into the combustion chamber. The aim of the used technology is to reduce deposits formation on heat transfer surfaces and change their physicochemical character, which consequently leads to facilitate their removal during operation and shutdown of equipment and to optimally working heating system. Due to complex technology chemical cleaning is environmentally friendly. The aim of this experiment was to verify its application; it was supported by contact and collaboration with A. I. T. DRIVEX and consequent renting of a required device for the necessary period. In connection with a number of visits to energy plants including combustion plants of municipal and hazardous wastes SITA Ostrava hazardous waste incineration plant was chosen.
