Mathematical model of a pilot plant for VOC removal

  • Original language description

For a pilot scale experimental unit for VOC oxidation testing, a reactor model was created considering the change of gas composition and properties due to oxidation reactions, the temperature rise due to oxidation reactions and its fall due to heat loss and the change in pressure due to the pressure losses on bulk catalyst bed. In case of availability of information on catalyst and kinetic data oxygenated VOC, this model can be used for the design of amount of catalyst and technological design of catalytic bed.
