Original language description
Seminar was focused on the presentation and discussion of technological aspects of tretatment of agricultural biomass residues by conventional and microwave pyrolysis and hydrothermal treatment to yield utilizable perspective carbon-based products such as biochar, hydrochar, activated carbon and carbon quantum dots, and about their properties and application as adsorbents or for energy storage. Special attention was also focused on chitosan-based materials doped with nanoparticles of ZnO and Cuo applied for food storage.
