The sulphur entrance the metallurgical cycle is hadly affected because the source of sulphur is materials essential for metallurgical production such as coke, alternative fuels and metal bearing charge. One of the possibility how to eliminate unfavorablesulphur causing steel fragility and affecting its plasticity is desulphurisation of pig iron out of the furnace. The paper deals with the environmental aspects of this technology concentrated on the recycling of its finest grained product in a blast furnace
