Operation Analysis of Automated Parking System with Off-Grid Supply System

  • Original language description

Automated parking system (APS) is a mechanical system designed to minimize the area and/or volume required for parking cars. It is a solution for areas with a minimum place to parking, especially in city center. Sometimes there are some APS which are equipped with charge station for E-vehicle. Respecting power consumption of APS and possible charging stations there should be a problem with supply whole facility via distribution network (in city center usually cable lines). Cable lines are usually tens of years old with a limited transmission capacity and very expensive and technologically demanding modernization. One of the possible solutions how supply APS equipped with charging station is an application of renewables together with storage devices. We introduce power supply system for APS based on renewables and storage devices with possibility to operate in off-grid mode in this paper. Description of monitoring system is also included. A basic analysis of operation of the APS with off-grid supply system is presented in the second part of the paper.
