Concept of Real-Time Communication in Off-Grid System with Vehicle-to-Home Technology
Original language description
In this paper are proposed two ways of communication in the Off-Grid system, PowerLine communication (PLC) and wireless. Four concepts are created by combining ordinary or smart appliance and PLC or Wireless communication. Reliable communication is necessary for proper operation of the Off-Grid control system based on demand response. It is important for control system to know what appliances are connected and running and for an appliance is important to know whether it is allowed to start operation. At first, the Off-Grid and its control system is described, then several parameters of the communication network created by PLC in the Off-Grid system are tested and analysed. During testing, different appliances are connected to the Off-Grid to identify their impact on these parameters.
